Seriously, I am making NO plans for the New Year’s. The reality is that I’ll be sitting here in my hotel room in St. Louis on the phone with my hubby when the ball drops. (Whose time zone do we go by?)
I’m being whimsical or maybe I mean? metaphorical. What I’m trying to say is that for 2010? I ain’t planning nuthin’. I’m not making a single personal or ministry resolution. No deals with God. No bargains with my hubby or kids. No promises to my church, children or youth.? (This is SO not me, btw.? While others are playing wii, I’m playing with my BB calendar.)
Read James 4:13-17; it explains where my head’s? at for the year. Hold me to it, btw. Help me remember to let God do the calendaring and planning and visioning and all the other “ings.”
Stephanie Caro has been involved in ministry to youth and youth workers in the
local church since…well, a long time – 30+ years. Her humorous, straightforward
